Little Kids Rock (LKR) Hires New Program Director with Funding from Music Empowers Foundation

Based on support from a multi-year grant from the Music Empowers Foundation to the Dr. Phil Foundation, Little Kids Rock recently hired a new program director. This new director provides the additional staffing needed to expand the innovative and free LKR music instruction program to an additional 25,000 kids by the end of 2010.

The Foundation's grant was announced last February with the support of Kris Allen, platinum recording artist and 2009 American Idol Champion. (See original article here for more info.)
